Editing may improve structure, clarity, academic tone, formatting, journal alignment and response-to-reviewer organisation while preserving the author’s meaning and authority.
Prohibited conduct
UK Journal Publishing does not fabricate evidence, invent citations, conceal misconduct, falsify originality, misrepresent authorship or guarantee journal acceptance.
Transparent use
Authors should follow the disclosure, acknowledgement and artificial-intelligence policies of their institution, funder and target journal.
